So, I've assembled the first grid of all my work! It looks good. However, I do have minor doubts about the bottom right corner. Those bottom two sequences just don't look that great there.
My tutor and I decided that maybe the bottom two sequences need to be shortened, in the sense that I need to choose a shorter series of images, so that the manipulation is conveyed far more effectively.
So, while this is a good image on the whole, it could be better. The level of shade shift from top to bottom could really be enhanced to make for a powerful compositional element in the whole grid.
